Nursing

Nurses have always been a cornerstone for the provision of services by the American Red Cross. Today, more than 40,000 nurses are involved in employee and volunteer capacities at all levels and in all service areas throughout the American Red Cross.

The American Red Cross of the Greater Lehigh Valley is proud to have about 50 nurse volunteers serving our community. Exciting opportunities are available for nurses to use their skills in local, national, and international disaster relief operations. In addition, nurses are needed to teach health and safety education courses, community safety and preparedness and senior initiative programs, such as Lifeline and I'm OK.
