Valley Wide Help, the information and referral program of the American Red Cross of the Greater Lehigh Valley, announced the publication and sale of its 2009 directory.

The 277-page, spiral-bound directory lists contact information for more than 1,000 nonprofit human and social service agencies and organizations located in the greater Lehigh Valley, as well as state and national agencies. Each agency listing includes a brief description of services, street address, telephone number, Web and e-mail addresses and hours of operation.

Funding in part for the directory was made possible through a grant from Two Rivers Health & Wellness Foundation of Easton.

Cost is $25 per directory. Copies are limited. Directories may be ordered by calling Red Cross Valley Wide Help at (610) 865-4400, ext. 221, or by e-mail to Carol Lewis at lewisca@usa.redcross.org.

Directories may be purchased and picked up at the Red Cross office, 2200 Avenue A in Bethlehem, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Cash and check are accepted. Please make checks payable to American Red Cross of the Greater Lehigh Valley (include the words Valley Wide Help Directory on the memo line).

The American Red Cross of the Greater Lehigh Valley serves residents of Carbon, Lehigh and Northampton counties.
