The American Red Cross will hold blood collections in Carbon County on the following days in October:

Thursday, Oct. 15, from 1 - 6 p.m., at Palmerton Borough Hall, 443 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton. Refreshment sponsor is East Penn Bank.

Wednesday, Oct. 21, from 1 - 6 p.m., at Jim Thorpe Memorial Hall, 101 East 10th Street, Jim Thorpe. Refreshment sponsor is Jim Thorpe Market.

Thursday, Oct. 22, from 1 - 6 p.m., at Mahoning Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, 397 Hemlock Drive, Lehighton.

'Got blood?' T-shirts will be given to all presenting donors at American Red Cross blood drives from Oct. 18 to Oct. 31.

The American Red Cross of the Greater Lehigh Valley serves residents of Carbon, Lehigh and Northampton counties. Last year the Red Cross provided preparedness and training, military personnel support, senior lifesaving programs and services, and emergency relief to more than 25,000 greater Lehigh Valley residents.
