Babysitter's Training Class to be Held Dec. 29

The American Red Cross will hold a Babysitter's Training class on Tuesday, Dec. 29, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at its office at 2200 Avenue A, Bethlehem.

Combining video, participant's handbook, activities, and hands-on skills training, this course teaches 11- to 15-year-olds how to: respond to emergencies, perform first aid, identify common safety hazards, make responsible decisions, manage young children, and feed, diaper, and care for infants. Fee is $50.

To secure a place in the class, please register at least seven days prior to the start date of the class. You can register by phone at 610-865-4400, ext. 247; online at www.redcrosslv.org; or in person at the Red Cross office, 2200 Avenue A, Bethlehem, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. 4:30 p.m. Registration is payable by check to "American Red Cross" or credit card (MasterCard, VISA or American Express).
