In response to the crash of a charter plane based at Lehigh Valley International Airport, the American Red Cross of the Greater Lehigh Valley has sent a local Red Cross mental health volunteer to counsel employees of East Coast Jets, the charter's owner.

Lisa Taylor of Allentown, a Red Cross mental health volunteer, is a member of the Red Cross Aviation Incident Response Team. She is one of a group of nationwide disaster experts, specially trained to help others cope with the traumatic aftermath of aviation disasters.

The team members are disaster response experts in operations, mental health, health services, logistics, and other essential disaster response functions who have completed special Aviation Incident Response training.

The plane crashed near Owatonna, Minn. The Steele County Chapter of the American Red Cross in Owatonna is assisting at the crash scene.
