The American Red Cross of the Greater Lehigh Valley will hold its 26th Annual Red Cross Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, July 28, at Brookside Country Club in Macungie.

The tournament will begin with registration, continental breakfast and range privileges at 8 a.m., and a shotgun start (scramble format) at 9 a.m. All golfers will receive a commemorative soft-side cooler bag packed with snacks, beverages and golf items. At completion of play, a hot and cold buffet lunch will be served at the club. Guests can watch a spectacular helicopter ball drop as Ted Rosenberger pilots his Rolls-Royce powered Enstrom 480B helicopter and drops 300 golf balls onto a makeshift green in a 50/50 cash contest.

Individual player cost is $250. Lunch guests welcomed at $50. Sponsorships are available.

Prizes will be awarded to teams and individuals in various categories. Guest can win raffle prizes and bid on silent auction items.

This year’s classic sponsors are the Haffner-Trinkle Foundation and Morgan Stanley – The Haddad Group and The Gehman-Yanders Group from the Allentown office.

Proceeds from this long-standing tournament are used to provide local Red Cross disaster relief and lifesaving programs to the greater Lehigh Valley community.
