As many as 50 units at the complex are affected. The total number of individuals affected was not available from the complex's management.
Cots and blankets will be set up at the center. Dinner, snacks, beverages and other amenities will be available at the shelter which will be staffed around-the-clock by the Red Cross.
The shelter will remain open until all needs are met.
The American Red Cross of the Greater Lehigh Valley serves more than 690,000
residents of Carbon, Lehigh and Northampton counties. Last year the Red Cross
provided health and safety education training; Lifeline, a personal response
service for seniors; and emergency relief to more than 23,000 Greater Lehigh
