The American Red Cross of the Greater Lehigh Valley will host a free workplace health and safety seminar Wednesday, May 9, from 9 a.m. to noon, at its offices at 2200 Avenue A, Bethlehem. The seminar is geared to medium- to large-size companies in the greater Lehigh Valley.

Red Cross Health and Safety experts will explain recent changes in first aid and CPR training and its impact on instructional methods, announce the new Web-Based Blended Learning training, as well as engage participants in hands-on exercises for better understanding of the latest lifesaving techniques. Scott Shimandle from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) will discuss compliance issues and the impact on businesses.
