Sandra A. Gaspar Named Development Director

Sandra A. Gaspar, of Nazareth, was named director of development and community affairs at the American Red Cross of the Greater Lehigh Valley, effective Oct. 31. Gaspar was former director of development for the State Theatre Center for the Arts in Easton.

Gaspar has extensive experience in fund development, marketing and public relations, team building, and leadership. For the past six years, she has focused on fund development for non-profit organizations including State Theatre, Families First of Pen Argyl, and the Lehigh County Conference of Churches.

At the Red Cross, Gaspar will oversee fund development, donor acquisition and grant writing.

As former director of Families First, a family center in the Pen Argyl School District, she helped raise nearly $250,000 in its first two years of operation. Prior to that, she was the firm administrator and estate paralegal at the law firm of Gross, McGinley, LaBarre & Eaton, LLP.

Her current involvement in professional and community organizations include: Kiwanis Club; Association of Fund Raising Professionals; TRACC Small Business Council of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce; Families First Learning Together program; Person to Person Citizen Advocacy; Moore Township Families in Need; Moravian Historical Society of Nazareth; and Office for Social Action, Diocese of Allentown.

Gaspar holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from Muhlenberg College.

The Moore Township resident is the mother of three adult children.
