Consider Yourself Asked; Donate Blood

The American Red Cross of the Greater Lehigh Valley encourages residents to donate blood this month at one of these two locations in Carbon County:

Monday, May 1, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Split Rock Resort, in Lake Harmony; and

Monday, May 22, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., at Nesquehoning Recreational Center, W. Railroad Street, Nesquehoning.

Anyone who is at least 17 years old, who weighs at least 110 pounds, and is in good health may give blood. For more information, contact the Carbon County office of the American Red Cross of the Greater Lehigh Valley at (610) 377-2100 or call 1-800-GIVE LIFE.
