Give the Gift of Life This Holiday Season

The holidays are just around the corner; celebrate by donating a pint of blood. Just one pint of blood can save the lives of up to three people. Get into the spirit of the season and give the priceless gift of life. The American Red Cross will be collecting blood in Carbon County at the following locations in December:

Wednesday, Dec. 13, from 1 p.m.-6 p.m., at Lehighton Recreation Center, 243 S. Eighth St., Lehighton; Come receive your free donor decal;

Thursday, Dec. 14, from 1 p.m.-6 p.m., at Palmerton Boro Hall, 455 Delaware Ave., Palmerton. Free donor decals will be given out;

Friday, Dec. 22, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., at Split Rock Resort, Lake Drive, Lake Harmony. Get a free T-shirt and tell your neighbors you’re a proud Red Cross blood donor; and

Thursday, Dec. 28, from 1 p.m.-6 p.m., at Jim Thorpe Memorial Hall, West 10th Street, Jim Thorpe; Come celebrate the gift of life with a free T-shirt!
