| Red Cross to Hold Longaberger Basket Bingo Fund-Raiser | |
The American Red Cross of the Greater Lehigh Valley will hold a Longaberger Basket Bingo fund-raising event on Sunday, Oct. 15, at Faith Lutheran Church, 3355 MacArthur Road, in Whitehall.
The American Red Cross of the Greater Lehigh Valley serves more than 660,000
residents of Carbon, Lehigh and Northampton counties. Last year the Red Cross
provided health and safety education training; Lifeline, a personal response
service for seniors; and emergency relief to more than 20,000 Greater Lehigh

The event is sponsored by the Greater Lehigh Valley Red Cross and proceeds will help to train youth volunteers in CPR and first aid, as well as support community service events.
Doors will open at noon and bingo will start at 1 p.m. The cost to play is $20 for 20 games. In addition, there will be food, door prizes and a Chinese auction. Auction items include gift certificates to area restaurants, golf courses and handmade craft items. Auction tickets cost $7 for a sheet of 26 tickets or two sheets for $10.
