Marinkovits joined the Red Cross in August 2003 with many years’ experience in administration, fund raising, grant writing, marketing, public relations and government affairs. She previously held the positions of director of advancement for KidsPeace and director of community education for Via of the Lehigh Valley.

She serves on the board of directors for Turning Point of the Lehigh Valley and Valley Search and Rescue. She is also a member of the Bethlehem Morning Star Rotary and the New York Chapter of WISE (Women in Sports and Events), currently founding a chapter in eastern Pennsylvania.
