Want to make someone feel really good this holiday … including yourself? Donate a pint of blood. That’s right. It won’t cost you a thing and it could save someone’s life.
“There is an urgent need for O-negative donors. Supplies of this blood type are at a critical low,” said Carl Kist, branch manager for the local Red Cross. “In this season of giving, I encourage everyone who is eligible to come out and donate. It’s the best gift you could give anyone.”
Free “Holiday Heroes” T-shirts will be distributed at the Dec. 22 and 23 drives.
Get into the spirit of donating blood this holiday. Mark these dates and locations for Red Cross blood drives in Carbon County or call Red Cross at (610) 377-2100.
