Inclement Weather Postpones Golf Tournament; Outing Rescheduled for Aug. 5

Heavy thunderstorms forecasted for this afternoon postponed the American Red Cross Tune-Up Golf Classic Tournament scheduled for May 13 at Brookside Country Club. The tournament has been rescheduled for Monday, Aug. 5 at Brookside Country Club.
Registration is from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. The tournament will begin with lunch at 11 a.m., followed by a noon shotgun start. The driving range will open at 10 a.m. to tournament golfers only. A cash bar will be available at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 5:30 p.m.
Corporate sponsorships and individual golf registrations are still available. Cost per individual golfer is $195. Proceeds benefit the programs and services of the local American Red Cross.
Over $4,000 in valuable prizes, auction items and raffle prizes will be available.

The American Red Cross of the Greater Lehigh Valley serves more than 660,000 residents in Carbon, Lehigh and Northampton counties. Last year the Red Cross provided health and safety education training and emergency relief services to more than 15,700 Lehigh Valley residents.
