Tamantha Yanders Named Community Events Specialist

Tamantha Yanders has been named community events specialist for the Lehigh Valley Chapter, American Red Cross.
Yanders formerly worked at Piercing Pagoda, Inc.'s corporate headquarters in Bethlehem for four years, where she held the position of public relations coordinator and assistant to the director of public relations.
Yanders is a board member of the Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley, an advisory board member of the Allentown Business School and a member of the International Association of Business Communicators, Lehigh Valley Chapter. Most recently, she served on various volunteer fund-raising committees for St. Luke's Hospital, Miller Memorial Blood Center, the Visiting Nurses Association, and the Crime Victims Council.
At the Red Cross, Yanders is responsible for Red Cross special event fund-raisers and community outreach programs.
Yanders is a graduate of Allentown Business School, where she received an associate's degree in specialized business. She resides in Allentown.
The American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization, led by volunteers, that provides relief to victims of disasters and helps people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.
The Lehigh Valley Chapter Red Cross serves more than 620,000 residents in Lehigh and Northampton counties. Last year the Red Cross provided health and safety education training and emergency relief services to more than 15,500 Lehigh Valley residents.
