American Red Cross to Host 11th Annual Lehigh River Relay Run

The American Red Cross, Lehigh Valley Chapter will host the 11th annual Lehigh River Relay Run on Sunday, July 15. Proceeds from the event will benefit the local Red Cross chapter.
More than 700 runners are expected to participate in the 23-mile team relay and iron division run along the Lehigh River and canal. The race starts at 6:45 a.m. at Canal Park in Allentown, winds through Bethlehem, and ends in Easton's Riverside Park. Leg distances vary from 3.38 miles to 5 miles. Iron division participants run the entire 23 miles.
Registration fee is $75 per team (up to five members) and $25 per iron division runner if received by July 1. Registrations received after that date will be $90 per team and $30 per runner in the iron division.
Awards will be presented in 18 categories following the race at about
10:30 a.m. at Easton's Riverside Park. Each runner will receive a T-shirt. Food and beverages will be provided at the finish line.
