Lifeline is for people with health limitations, physical challenges, personal security concerns or living alone. Lifeline enables individuals to live safely and independently, with knowledge that help is just a press of a button away. In contrast to other more expensive alternatives that are available, this service is provided by the American Red Cross on a monthly rental basis for about a dollar a day. It requires no long-term commitment from subscribers.
