Babysitter’s Training
If you're 11 to 15 years old, you can get the knowledge, skills and confidence to care for infants and school-age children. Combines video, participant's handbook, activities, hands-on skills training and discussion for a complete learning experience.
Prerequisite: Students must be 11 years old by the last day of the class.

Babysitter's Training Instructor
This course trains instructor candidates to teach the American Red Cross Babysitter's Training course. Candidates prepare to use course materials, conduct training sessions and evaluate the progress of participants in a basic-level course.

This course includes Fundamentals of Instructor Training.

Prerequisites:

Minimum age of 17 by the last day of class.

All candidates are required to complete an instructor candidate application before admission into the instructor course.

Candidates must pass the precourse written and skills exam. Call the chapter for details.

Family Caregiving Program
The purpose of the Family Caregiving Program is to help participants gain an understanding of what is involved in caring for a loved one and know how to provide that care through 1-hour modules covering topics such as personal care, nutrition, home safety, and others.

Dog First Aid
This course is designed to teach participants how to be prepared for emergencies that involve a dog, and how to protect themselves and the dog from further harm, injury or suffering during emergencies by teaching prompt, effective first aid actions and care. Topics covered include how to identify a normal heart and pulse rate for dogs, how to control bleeding for a dog, how to care for a dog that is having a breathing emergency, and how to perform CPR on a dog.
