CPR/AED - Adult
Learn how to recognize symptoms of a heart attack, what to do about them; when and how to do CPR on adults (someone 12 years of age or older); choking rescue and rescue breathing; and how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) for victims of sudden cardiac arrest.

CPR/AED - Adult Review
This class is for individuals who wish to be recertified in Adult CPR/AED. Candidates must bring proof of certification received within the last past 24 months to class (call us for more information).

CPR/AED - Adult and Child
Teaches rescue breathing, choking rescue, Adult and Child CPR, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), accessing Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and how to prevent heart disease.

CPR/AED - Adult and Child Review
This class is for individuals who wish to be recertified in Adult & Child CPR. This course will cover training in the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs). Candidates must bring proof of certification received within the last past 24 months to class (call us for more information).

CPR/AED - Adult and Child plus Infant CPR
This class teaches rescue breathing, choking rescue, Adult, Infant, and Child CPR, accessing Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and how to prevent heart disease. First Aid is not covered in this course.

CPR/AED - Adult and Child plus Infant CPR Review
This class is for individuals who wish to be recertified in Adult, Child & Infant CPR. Candidates must bring proof of certification received within the last past 24 months to class (call us for more information). Participants will receive updated information that includes the latest science for CPR and emergency cardiovascular care.

CPR/AED - Child plus Infant CPR
Designed for childcare providers, teachers, parents and others who care for children, this course teaches participants how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in infants and children up to 12 years old. Child AED training is also included in this course.

CPR/AED - Child plus Infant CPR Review
This class is for individuals who wish to be recertified in Infant CPR & Child CPR/AED. Candidates must bring proof of certification received within the last past 24 months to class (call us for more information).

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
For participants who "have a duty to respond" in an emergency and need to use more advanced techniques. This course includes basic CPR skills for adults, children and infants; plus performing two-rescuer CPR, using a resuscitation mask and a bag-valve mask and how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) for victims of sudden cardiac arrest.

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Challenge
This class is for individuals who wish to be recertified in CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. This is knowledge and skills testing session only. It is not a review or teaching session. Participants must be prepared to demonstrate their knowledge and ability in all of the skills covered in the CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer course. A pocket face mask is included.

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Review
This class is for individuals who wish to be recertified in CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. The course includes a book and a mask.Candidates must bring proof of certification received within the last past 24 months to class (call us for more information).

Oxygen Administration
Laypersons and professional rescuers learn the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to a victim of a breathing emergency using breathing devices, including resuscitation masks, bag-valve-mask resuscitators (BVMS) and emergency oxygen. Current certification in Adult, Child or Infant CPR or equivalent is a prerequisite to this course (call us for more information).

Standard First Aid with CPR/AED - Adult
This course teaches rescue breathing, choking rescue and adult one-rescuer CPR. You will also learn how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) for victims of sudden cardiac arrest, plus how to treat cuts, bruises, bone and muscle injuries, shock, bleeding and other first aid emergencies.

Standard First Aid with CPR/AED - Adult and Child plus Infant CPR
Gain the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent, recognize, and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. This course includes training in the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for adults and children and prepares individuals to provide care for breathing emergencies and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for victims of sudden cardiac arrest until advanced medical personnel arrive. Also included is instruction on controlling external bleeding, muscle, bone and joint injuries, including injuries to head, neck and back.

Lay Responder CPR/AED Challenge
This session allows participants to renew their certification in Adult CPR/AED, Child CPR/AED and Infant CPR or any combination of these components. This course is knowledge and skills testing session only. It is not a review or teaching session. Participants must come prepared to demonstrate the skills and knowledge required for each of the components.

Lay Responder First Aid and CPR/AED Instructor
Upon completion of the Lay Responder First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor course, the participant will be prepared to teach the following courses:

  • First Aid/CPR/AED for the Workplace
  • First Aid/CPR/AED for Schools and the Community
  • Blended Learning First Aid/CPR/AED
  • First Aid - Responding to Emergencies
  • Sport Safety Training
This course includes Fundamentals of Instructor Training

Prerequisites:

  • Candidates must successfully complete written and skills pre-test covering Adult & Child CPR/AED, Infant CPR, & First Aid. It is strongly recommended that participants receive this training less than 12 months prior to the course.
  • Minimum age is 16 by the last day of the class.
  • All candidates must complete an instructor candidate application and interview before admission into the instructor course. Call the chapter for details.
