This course teaches lifeguards the skills and knowledge needed to prevent and respond to emergencies at a waterfront facility. Participants will learn to describe conditions that affect surveillance at a waterfront. Learn skills needed for special rescue situations such as missing person procedures, searching for a scuba diver, and cold water rescue. Prerequisite: Current certification in Lifeguard Training and CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
