Dog First Aid

This course is designed to teach participants how to be prepared for emergencies that involve a dog, and how to protect themselves and the dog from further harm, injury or suffering during emergencies by teaching prompt, effective first aid actions and care. Topics covered include how to identify a normal heart and pulse rate for dogs, how to control bleeding for a dog, how to care for a dog that is having a breathing emergency, and how to perform CPR on a dog.
