This course trains instructor candidates to teach the Basic Water Rescue course, the six levels of the Learn to Swim Program, Parent and Child Aquatics, and Community Water Safety presentations. Candidates will learn how to plan and conduct lessons and evaluate progress of students. This course includes Fundamentals of Instructor Training. Prerequisites: Must be at least 16 years of age by the last day of class and successfully complete water and swimming skills pre-test. Call chapter for details.
