Facts Practice


This course prepares participants to share accurate, unbiased, up-to-date information about HIV/AIDS. It also instructs students to refer community members to appropriate resources. This course is now an optional course. It is no longer a requirement for Basic HIV/AIDS Education & Prevention Instructor course.

Prerequisites: Participants must be a minimum of 17 years of age and possess HIV/AIDS Starter Facts certificate issued within the last 12 months.
