| Family Caregiving Program |

The purpose of the Family Caregiving Program is to help participants gain an
understanding of what is involved in caring for a loved one and know how to
provide that care through 1-hour modules covering topics such as personal care,
nutrition, home safety, and others.
Family Caregiving: General Caregiving Skills
Fee: $5
The purpose of this module is to inform caregivers how they can measure their
loved one's vital signs such as pulse, respirations, and body temperature and
how to assist with medications. They will understand the importance of
measuring of vital signs and the proper administration of medications.

Family Caregiving: Assisting with Personal Care
Fee: $5
The purpose of this module is to inform participants how to assist their loved
one with personal care such as bathing, grooming and using the toilet.
Participants will learn caregiving techniques when assisting with mouth care,
grooming, dressing and undressing, bathing, shampooing and toileting.

Family Caregiving: Caring for the Caregiver
Fee: $5
The purpose of this module is to prepare individuals who are family caregivers
to care for their own health while caring for a loved one. Participants will
learn how to recognize the signs of caregiver stress and identify ways to make
time for themselves. They will also learn how to access help from community
organizations such as respite care.

Family Caregiving: Caring for a Loved One with Alzheimer's Disease or Dementia
Fee: $5
The purpose of this module is to inform caregivers how to care for a person
with Alzheimer's disease or dementia as well as to handle common behaviors
associated with the disease. The caregivers will understand how to provide
for a person with Alzheimer's disease or dementia including daily activities
such as bathing and eating. Participants will also learn to recognize the
signs of depression and understand that a person who cares for someone with
Alzheimer's disease or dementia is at risk for depression
