Web-Based Blended Learning


CPR Lifesaving skills are just a click away with Web-Based Blended Learning. The first portion of the training is completed online, allowing each course participant to take the training from any PC (Windows-based) computer with Internet access. For the second part of the training, a Red Cross instructor will conduct the approximately two-hour skills session at your place or ours!

Web-Based Blended Learning allows participants to learn at their own pace and convenience, and is as effective as classroom-only training. Whether you're new to Red Cross training or are already certified, Web-Based Blended Learning is for you. This new training option works well in environments with easy access to computers … businesses, schools, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, etc.

Courses currently available through the new Web-Based Blended Learning are:
  • First Aid
  • CPR - Adult, Child and Infant CPR
  • Automated External Defibrillation (AED) - Adult and Child
Minimum of eight participants recommended. Certification requirements are as follows:
  • Complete online session Online Session
  • Correctly answer at least 80 percent of the questions on the final exam. Note: Participants must successfully complete the online session before beginning the Skills Practice and Assessment Session.
  • Attend and participate in the skills practice and assessment session for the course
  • Demonstrate competency in all required skills
