The American Red Cross of the Greater Lehigh Valley serves a vital purpose in the community.
Every day the Red Cross carries out its mission of preparing families, schools and organizations
for the unexpected, teaching lifesaving skills, assisting military families facing a crisis,
providing lifesaving services to seniors and providing shelter, food, and counseling for disaster victims.
It costs...
- $25 to help provide a clean-up kit to a flood victim.
- $75 for a day's meals and one night in a local motel for a fire or flood victim.
- $100 for groceries for a family of four for one week.
- $500 to provide clothing and shoes for two adults and two children.
- $1,800 to provide 1,000 disaster victims with comfort kits.
