Where to Park at the U.S. Women's Open
Based on our experiences on Monday, July 6, Red Cross volunteers coming from the north or east are asked to please park at Lehigh University's Goodman Campus (also known as Stabler Fields). Follow the signs to "Event Parking" and take the free shuttle to Saucon Valley Country Club. Volunteers coming from the south or west may choose to park in the U.S. Women's Open West Spectator Lot or at Lehigh University's Goodman Campus depending on traffic conditions. For detailed directions, click here. Please arrive at Lehigh University's Goodman Campus (Stabler Fields) an hour before your shift. This will allow you time to get the shuttle, process through the Red Cross registration tent at Saucon Valley and get to your volunteer post 15 minutes before your start time. We want to do our best to make sure your experience is as smooth as possible. The best advice we can give is: Please be patient and Please be flexible. You will be joining thousands of other volunteers and spectators eager to get to the event. We apologize for any inconvenience. What Time to Arrive at Your Volunteer Post Please try and arrive at your appointed volunteer post 15 minutes before your actual start time. This will give you a chance to receive any instructions from your supervisor leader at the beginning of your shift and also will allow for a smooth transition in the changing of shift volunteers. Where to Drop-off and Pick-Up Volunteers at the U.S. Women's Open We are recommending that drop-off and pick-up of volunteers also be done at Lehigh University's Goodman Campus (also known as Lehigh University/Stabler Fields), as recommended for parking above. This is because the entry road to Saucon Valley Country Club is very crowded and the traffic is being re-routed as needed. You are welcome to ride the shuttle with the volunteers you are dropping off if you wish. You may then catch another shuttle back to the parking at Lehigh University's Goodman Campus (Stabler Fields). We apologize for any inconvenience.
